There is a new Accessible Information Standard which aims to meet the information and communication needs of those cared for in the NHS.
The standard asks us to identify where patients may need access to information or communication in a variety of ways.
We can offer:

Texts, Email, or Telephone calls

A portable hearing loop that is available at reception

Leaflets available in larger fonts or different languages

Interpreting or translating in consultation or over the phone

Longer appointments available if needed
We are asking all new patients to let us know if they have any individual communication needs when registering, form is included in the new patient packs available from reception.
Existing patients can fill out a form and return it to the surgery, chat to a receptionist or email us postmaster@gp-j81076.nhs.uk
